The Pre-Labor Day start to the school year kicked off on Wednesday August 29, with the annual rebbe meetings and workshops. This year, the Yeshiva was honored to have Rav Noach Isaac Oelbaum address the rebbeim. Rav Oelbaum shared a beautiful S’forno that, just as a father can love and support each child’s different needs because the child knows that his father loves him, so is the responsibility of the rebbe, that the talmid should feel that the rebbe cares for him, is watching out for him, and takes pride in him. He shared a story from a talmid of Rav Shimon Shkop, that after the war, the talmid expressed that the only memory he had from this giant in Torah was the love his rebbe showed him. Rav Oelbaum also discussed the importance of being m’chaneich our talmidim with simchah, and ensuring that the simchah in the talmidim’s lives come from the right places. Rav Oelbaum gave the rebbeim a brachah for hatzlachah with their avodas ha’kodesh.

With the chizuk from Rav Oelbaum, may the Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe rebbeim have a year of success with their talmidim.
