The Chazaq Organization is proud to have launched a weekly parshah chaburah on January 18th, presented by renowned outreach professional Rabbi Avrohom Walkin. Each Wednesday, Rabbi Walkin will be providing an in-depth exploration of the weekly parshah, delving into the deeper meanings and discussing the practical applications of the Torah's timeless teachings.
The chaburah is geared towards young professionals and is aimed at providing an accessible and engaging way to learn and grow in one's knowledge of the Torah. Chazaq worked with Rabbi Walkin on this project because they saw a need for more opportunities for young professionals to learn, connect with a rabbi, and feel part of the community.
Rabbi Walkin is a highly dedicated and motivating mechanech with over thirty years of experience directing exciting programs for adults and teens of all ages. He currently is one of the Directors of Chazaq’s Jwave Teens Division.
The chaburah meets Wednesdays at 8:30 p.m. at Charm Circle Congregation, 72-31 Park Drive East, Kew Gardens Hills.
The Chazaq Organization is dedicated to promoting Jewish education and this new chaburah is part of its ongoing effort to reach out to the wider Jewish community in order to bring the timeless teachings of the Torah to a larger audience. They invite everyone to join the program and grow together in our understanding of the Torah.
