The Beth Gavriel Netz Minyan held a stunning siyum on the main floor of their Forest Hills shul. The venue was recreated into a magnificent hall befitting the tremendous milestone accomplished by making a siyum on Masechet Shabbat.
For 14 months, the mesaymim toiled over the sacred pages of the Talmud and the attendance at the event was testament that their hard work really paid off. The event was by far an incredible kiddush Hashem. From the artistic decor led by Liora Sebag to the uplifting music provided by DJ Avraham, and the powerful speeches delivered by the various Beth Gavriel rabbonim, the program was one to remember. However, one of the evening’s highlights were the heartfelt remarks from a few of the ba’alei batim after they were presented awards during a recognition ceremony. These heartfelt words were a pivotal moment that encouraged participants to become part of the Netz Minyan Gemorah Class and be part of the next siyum of Masechet Sotah that is underway Monday through Friday from 6:30 to 7:30 in the morning. Having the community united in celebration for the mitzvah of learning Torah was beautiful. May we all merit to celebrate a siyum on all of Shas.
