A remarkable 70 women turned out for a riveting lecture by Rebbetzin Malka Gavrielov and accompanying dinner in the main sanctuary of the Beth Gavriel Center of Bukharian Jews. Such a showing exemplifies the commitment of the Bukharian Jewish community to adhere to the Jewish religious concept of domestic harmony and good relations between husband and wife. The audience heard from the rabbanit about the beauty of raising a family with one’s spouse in a home filled with peace and tranquility. The program was aptly sponsored by the hosting shul and its women’s ritual bath, Mikvah Be’er Miriam & Yaffa.
