Recently, the Hewlett chapter hosted a special parent-child challah bake, offering families a hands-on opportunity to connect with the mitzvah of hafrashat challah. Meanwhile, children at other Shaping Lives locations participated in creative hamantaschen projects, in preparation for the joyous celebration of Purim.
