Chazaq’s JWave Teen Division continues to offer meaningful and engaging Jewish experiences for public school teens, blending Torah learning with fun, hands-on activities.
In a recent session, JWave girls proudly displayed their beautifully designed Shabbat brachah posters, each reflecting the beauty and significance of welcoming Shabbat. The project deepened their understanding of the brachot recited over Shabbat candles, challah, and kiddush, while allowing them to express their creativity.
Adding to the excitement, the girls rolled up their sleeves to bake festive hamantaschen in honor of Purim. The activity brought warmth and laughter to the room, as they connected with the spirit and traditions of the holiday.
Through experiences like these, Chazaq’s JWave initiative continues to strengthen Jewish identity, foster community, and instill pride in living a life rooted in Torah values.
