Chazaq’s Shaping Lives Sunday school program, with over 15 active locations, continues to instill Torah values in Jewish public school children through hands-on learning and creative activities.
In a recent lesson, students focused on the mitzvah of tzedakah, learning how giving is a cornerstone of Jewish life. To help bring the value to life, the children decorated their very own tzedakah boxes, making the mitzvah personal, creative, and memorable.
This project not only gave students a chance to express themselves artistically but also deepened their connection to the mitzvah of giving. By creating their own tzedakah boxes, they were encouraged to carry the lesson forward into their daily lives, reinforcing the importance of generosity, kindness, and responsibility to others.
