While January temperatures dropped outside, the atmosphere inside Yeshiva Tiferet Tzion remained vibrant, focused, and full of warmth. The month reflected steady growth, meaningful achievement, and the unmistakable hum of serious Torah learning.
From morning seder through the close of the day, the talmidim approached their limud haTorah with maturity and consistency. Rebbiem noted not only academic progress, but a visible strengthening of responsibility and purpose.
This is how momentum is built — quietly, steadily, and with discipline.
A highlight of the month was the 12th grade chizuk trip to Brooklyn. The bochurim had the privilege of meeting and receiving guidance from prominent Torah leaders, including Harav Eliezer Ginzburg, shlita and Harav Moshe Weinberger, shlita.
The personal conversations and words of direction left a lasting impression. The meetings were not ceremonial — they were meaningful. The bochurim absorbed guidance in hashkafah, growth, and personal responsibility as they prepare for the next stage of their Torah journey.
Even the shared lunch at the well-known Chap-A-Nosh in Flatbush became part of a bonding experience — strengthening camaraderie among the grade.
Shortly afterward, the 12th grade departed for their transformative trip to Eretz Yisrael, further deepening their connection to Torah and heritage.
Siyum In Second Seder
Back in the yeshivah, the 12th grade marked a beautiful siyum on the first perek of Masechet Pesachim during Second Seder. The accomplishment reflected consistent hasmadah and steady effort.
Moments like these do not happen overnight. They are earned — daf by daf, line by line.
Midterms And The Bechina Gedolah
January also brought midterms and the Bechina Gedolah. Across the yeshivah, preparation was serious and focused.
We extend heartfelt Mazel Tov to Mesaymei Masechet Yisrael Katanov – Masechet Rosh Hashanah, Benjamin Badalov – Masechet Ta’anit, and David Gadaev – Masechet. Receiving one-hundred percent on the Bechina Gedolah were Eliezer Badalov, Yisrael Katanov, David Kulangiev, and Moshe Meirov.
