Esau says to Jacob that he will accompany him and walk with him along the way, “And he said, ‘let us travel and go, and I will walk alongside (against) you.”
(Bereshith 33:12)
Rashi explains “alongside (against) you” as being of equal stature.
It says in Ben Ish Hai Derashoth that originally
And Isaac loved Esau, because game (venison) was in his mouth, and Rebecca loved (loves) Jacob. – Bereshith 25:28
Rabbenu Bahyei mentions that Isaac
And Sara laughed within herself saying, after I have become old, will I conceive again, and my master is old too. (Bereshith 18:12)
