New Volume Of Pri Ilan On The Ben Ish Chai Available Worldwide

Rabbi Ilan Meirov dedicates his time overseeing Chazaq’s life-changing programs as the organization's Director, and proudly serves as one of the few rabbis at the Beth Gavriel Center in Forest Hills.

Between his community work and family life, the venerable rav allocates spare time to his personal writings published in a collection known throughout Eretz Yisrael and the Diaspora as Pri Ilan based on the teachings of the Ben Ish Chai.

This past week, Rav Ilan celebrated the publishing of his fifth work, fourth in the Pri Ilan series. Like previous editions, an Israeli-based printing press was used for the publication. Rav Ilan rejoiced with several family members and close friends for this milestone celebration. Rav Ilan was received warmly on various visits to leading Torah sages as he offered his new masterpiece.

Chief Sephardic Rabbi of Eretz Yisrael, Rav Yitchak Yosef, widely known as the Rishon LeZion, graciously open his home to Rav Ilan and his delegation from New York along with members of the Chazaq's Kollel Ohr Aviel based in Yerushalayim. Despite a hectic schedule, the group enjoyed an in-depth class from the Chief Rabbi detailing the many halachic ramifications of the current war between Israel and the Hamas terrorists.

The rav who is also the Rosh HaYeshivah of Yeshivat Hazon Ovadia, blessed Rav Ilan on the momentous accomplishment that includes a 45-page introduction by the Chief Rabbi, and praised Chazaq’s vital outreach efforts.

Rav David Yosef, brother of the Chief Rabbi and head of the prominent Kollel Yechave Da’at, hosted a seudat mitzvah in the simchah hall of his beit hamidrash and granted a question and answer session to the special guests from abroad. The discussion further opened participants' eyes to the beautiful depth of the holy Torah. The gadol also delivered brachah to the staff and administrators of Chazaq noting how their painstaking dedication continues to save an astounding number of youth from physical and spiritual harm in public school environments that are not conducive for Jewish children..

Rav Ilan's new volume was distributed in scores of yeshivot and shuls throughout the country. In only several days of circulation, the latest edition to Pri Ilan has baruch Hashem been received with great joy by rabbonim and laymen alike.
