We live in a world of many challenges. If there were one challenge that all parents face, it would be raising children in today's difficult society. As such, on Sunday night, December 23rd, Chazaq hosted a special event on this topic and inspired the large audience at the Beth Gavriel Center.
The evening began with words of inspiration by Chazaq director Rabbi Ilan Meirov who shared practical tips in protecting our children from the dangers of today's society. He was followed by Mrs. Lena Harris, a dedicated community member who has been involved with CHAZAQ for many years. She too shared practical tips by sharing personal stories and anecdotes on the matter. Lastly, Dr. Tamar Perlman, an expert in the field of Shalom Bayit and raising children offered her words of wisdom.
Chazaq's PSTY (Public School to Yeshiva) division were on hand for the event offering their services to any one in need and shared updates of their future endeavors in the community.
To date, Chazaq has transferred well over 500 public school students to Yeshiva in just over two years.
