At a recent Chavruta learning session at the Bukharian Congregation of Jamaica Estates, Pinchas Ismialova, 40-year-old businessman from the area made a special siyum on a perak of g'morah.
This was his first siyum ever! Rabbi Yitzchak Aminov delivered remarks where he revealed the astounding level of accomplishment. Pinchas grew up without much of a yeshivah background, but found a closeness to Hashem by helping to fund the construction of his beis k'nesset that is used throughout the week with a pinnacle of attendance each Shabbat. Rabbi Aminov explained that it was very apropo for Pinchas' first siyum to be on his learning that he reviewed each Shabbat. Pinchas told over how he had learned before, but it was his studies at the Chavruta program that gave him the strength to be able to make his first siyum. Wow! Mazal tov Pinchas! You are an inspiration to us all.
