Family Donates New Ambulance
to Magen David Adom After October 7 Attacks

To mark a Bar Mitzvah in the most meaningful way, the family of Ari “Ziggy” Doron Katz dedicated a brand-new ambulance to American Friends of Magen David Adom (AFMDA) in his honor. Ari’s parents, Esther and Teaneck Deputy Mayor Elie Y. Katz, along with his sister Kayla and older brother Tani—who was pictured smiling from the driver’s seat—joined together to make the special presentation last week.

This ambulance isn’t just any vehicle—it replaces one that was destroyed during the Hamas terrorist attacks on October 7, 2023. Now, thanks to the Katz family’s donation, this new ambulance will help save lives across Eretz Yisrael.

The gift was also made in loving honor of Ari’s great-grandparents: Rabbi Jerry and Mary Feinstein, Morris and Evelyn Yudkovitch, Herschel and Mina Katz, and Dr. David and Mildred Flom.

With this incredible act of kindness, Ari’s Bar Mitzvah became more than just a celebration—it became a mission of hope, healing, and support for the people of Israel.
