Chazaq’s Yaldeinu Extracurricular Program enjoyed another lively week, filled with hands-on learning and activities that encouraged creativity, confidence, and joy. Every group found something to love, and the upbeat energy was felt throughout the entire program.

The brand-new baking class was an immediate hit. Children eagerly measured, mixed, and kneaded their ingredients, proudly creating treats from scratch. The excitement — and the flour dusting the tables — showed just how much fun they were having.

In the art room, imagination was on full display. Older students worked thoughtfully on winter-themed snow portraits, adding impressive detail and personality to their work. Younger children poured their creativity into designing colorful tzedakah boxes and mezuzah cases, each one unique and full of character.

Martial arts brought its own sense of accomplishment, as students practiced new techniques, learned balance and discipline, and built confidence with every step. Dance class added another layer of energy to the day, with the dancers enjoying new routines, music, and the chance to move freely with friends.

Chess rounded out the week with quiet concentration and friendly strategy. Children explored new moves, challenged one another, and strengthened their thinking skills in an atmosphere that was both fun and focused.

From flour-covered hands to paint-splattered tables, from high kicks to strategic checkmates, this week at Yaldeinu captured the heart of what the program offers: a warm, engaging environment where children can grow, express themselves, and genuinely look forward to coming back each week.
