The recent Open House at YCQ drew an impressive crowd of prospective families, all eager to experience the warmth, energy, and educational excellence that define the school. The evening began with opening remarks from Principal Rabbi Mark Landsman, who set the tone by highlighting the yeshiva’s mission and its commitment to nurturing every child’s growth. Early Childhood Director Morah Shana Weiss followed with an overview of the school’s philosophy, and how YCQ blends foundational skills with lifelong inspiration.
Parents were then divided into four rotating groups, each visiting sessions on Literacy, Ivrit, Science, and Limudei Kodesh. Every station included a brief introduction from proud alumni, giving families a firsthand sense of the long-term impact of a YCQ education. The format offered an engaging window into the school’s dynamic curriculum and the dedication of its teachers.
From the beautifully presented dinner buffet to the concluding maariv and dessert, the entire evening was a true success—made possible by the tireless efforts of YCQ’s staff, parent body, and alumni volunteers. The Open House demonstrated once again why YCQ continues to shape students with strong beginnings and unlimited possibilities.
