Chazaq’s JWave Teen Division continues to create meaningful opportunities for Jewish teens to strengthen their identity, friendships, and connection to the community both inside and outside the classroom.
In partnership with Olami, Chazaq recently distributed “L’Chaim” T-shirts to Jewish students at Francis Lewis High School, giving students a visible and unifying expression of Jewish pride. The initiative brought together public school students in a warm and positive atmosphere centered around Jewish connection and belonging.
At the same time, Chazaq’s Youth Lounge has become an important gathering place for JWave boys throughout Queens. The relaxed environment gives teens a space where they can learn, unwind, build friendships, and engage in meaningful discussions alongside mentors and staff members who genuinely care about their growth.
Photos from recent gatherings show teens sitting together in conversation, sharing food, listening to guidance, and enjoying an atmosphere built on respect, encouragement, and camaraderie. For many participants, the Youth Lounge provides far more than an after-school hangout. It offers consistency, mentorship, and a strong sense of community during some of the most formative years of their lives.
Through initiatives like these, Chazaq’s JWave Teen Division continues to invest in the next generation by helping Jewish teens develop confidence in who they are and pride in where they come from.
