SINAI students and their families gathered on Wednesday, May 13 to honor the creativity and hard work showcased at this year’s Unique Inspirations Student Art Show. Featuring pieces created by SINAI@YCQ students through the Paley‑Mironov Art Therapy Program, the exhibition was hosted at Yeshiva of Central Queens and highlighted each young artist’s imagination, growth, and expressive journey.

Since 2014, the annual show, made possible through the generosity of Bear Givers, has become a cherished event within the SINAI community. It brings together students, families, and supporters to recognize and celebrate the students’ artistic accomplishments.

Art therapy offers a powerful outlet for self‑expression for many students, giving them a way to convey thoughts and emotions that may be hard to articulate with words alone. Through SINAI’s Paley‑Mironov Art Therapy Program, students develop tools to better understand and manage their feelings, fostering greater self‑awareness and confidence in their own abilities. Their creative work nurtures a sense of connection with peers, builds resilience, and supports healthy coping skills, all while helping to reduce stress and anxiety.

Art shows featuring the work of SINAI students at their New Jersey schools and the Irving Montak SINAI School at SAR Academy were previously held in Bergenfield and Riverdale.

The students’ artwork is available to view online and to purchase on canvas, mugs, mouse pads, and greeting cards by visiting sinaischools.org/art-show. All proceeds support SINAI’s Paley-Mironov Art Therapy Program.
