On Monday, December 25th, Chazaq proudly hosted the Renowned Kabbalist, Rav Yekutiel Abuhatzera shlit”a in Queens. The Rabbi met scores of families at Congregation Ohel Simcha, giving advice at blessings to all who attended. While there, Rav Abuchatzeira had the opportunity to also visit Yeshivat Merkaz Hatorah. He toured the facilities and then visited each classroom and gave a bracha to each of the children. Before Rav Abuhatzera came into the kindergarten class, the children were taught that when a Talmid Chacham, a big rabbi, or an important person walks into the room, we stand up out of respect. The children were very excited and were in awe of his special presence. Rav Abuhatzera was impressed with how the children were learning and also gave brachot to the teachers and faculty of the school for success and health. Overall the entire community received great chizuk from the Rabbis presence.
